Reverend Steve Parker preaches and teaches the Word of God with a focus on raising up true disciples who are committed to prayer, Scripture, living a life of full surrender to the Lord, and reaching others for Christ.  This is carried out through Sunday services, mid-week discipleship classes, and pastoral counsel.  He has a heart for ALL the people of our community and desires that every person experience the fullness of relationship with God that is available through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prior to becoming a pastor, Steve served as the Executive Director of FOCHUS, a faith-based nonprofit organization providing educational resources to the children of Montagnard refugees in Charlotte, NC.  He is also the founder and former publisher of the Blue Ridge Christian News, a Christian newspaper distributed free of charge in Burke County and the surrounding region.  He and his wife Susanne have been married for 18 years and demonstrate what it means for marriage to be a true partnership.
